1. Who we are
("", "we") is based at . We collect, transcribe and label Khmer language data for companies that build AI. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
2. Who this policy covers
- Website visitors: people who browse this site or send us a form.
- Clients: people at companies that buy our services or datasets.
- Contributors: people who record their voice, provide photos, or work with us as transcribers, annotators or reviewers.
3. What we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone or Telegram, company, and what you write in our forms.
- Contributor details: age range, gender, province or region, languages, device type, and payment details (bank account or mobile wallet).
- Contributed data: voice recordings, text you write, and work you produce for projects.
- Sensitive data (eKYC projects only): photos or videos of your face and images of identity documents. We collect these only with your separate, explicit consent for that specific project.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
4. How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and send quotes or samples.
- To recruit, test, train and pay contributors.
- To create the datasets that contributors have agreed to take part in, and to deliver them to clients.
- To check quality, prevent fraud and keep our systems secure.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data for advertising, and we do not use contributed data for any purpose the contributor has not agreed to.
5. Contributor consent
Before any recording or photo, contributors receive a consent form in Khmer that explains what will be collected, who will receive it, how it will be used, and what they will be paid. Taking part is voluntary. You can withdraw at any time before your data is delivered to a client, and we will delete it. After delivery, we will ask the client to delete it where our contract allows.
6. Who we share it with
- Clients receive datasets only for the uses described in the consent form. We remove names and contact details first; clients see an anonymous speaker ID, not who you are.
- Service providers such as cloud hosting, email and payment providers, who may only use the data to provide their service to us, under contract.
- Authorities, when Cambodian law requires it.
7. Transfers outside Cambodia
Some clients and service providers are located outside Cambodia. When data leaves Cambodia, we use written contracts that require the recipient to protect it at least as well as we do.
8. How we protect it
We encrypt data in storage and in transit, limit access to the staff who need it for a project, require every staff member and contributor to sign a confidentiality agreement, and keep sensitive eKYC data separate from other data.
9. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and form messages: up to 2 years.
- Raw recordings and photos: only as long as the project needs, plus any period agreed in the consent form.
- Payment and tax records: as long as Cambodian law requires.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent. Contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days. We follow applicable Cambodian law and, where our clients require it, international standards such as the EU GDPR.
